Why does your friend think it’s fake? Highly unlikely a pro shop is selling knock offs. They buy direct from the company
I think every fake vokey wedge post has a number you can call to ask if the serial number matches the data base. Give it a shout and ask the pros!
No micro grooves… it’s from AliExpress or Teemu. Call Titleist. They will tell you.

Just call Titleist. They will tell you in 2 minutes. They know there are thousands of fakes out there so they have a system to tell you if it’s fake or not. If you’re lucky, they might even award you.
Also take a picture of the face, shaft stickers and the grip. Post it here.

Also call Titleist anyway and let them know that this GC has fakes. They know how to handle this kind of things. You should not be accusatory to the Pro Shop yourself. This will get you nowhere.
Ask the Pro where he got them, they look nice, I might order from Temu myself.
Why anyone buy clubs at Pro Shops in any GCs is beyond me. I’ve never seen a deal that’s worth a damn.

Font on the bounce is wrong too. I’d be getting my money back and some shop credit for the hassle. Then call Titleist or Accushnet and report that a golf club is selling knock off Titleist products. They take it very seriously.

Update: the shop claimed that someone must have stolen the real ones and swapped them with fake ones… they gave me my money back plus a voucher for a free round..

Fake. The dots on the Titleist are way too big. Dead give away everytime.
If you did infact buy them from a retailer (a club is a retailer) take it back for a refund.

Pro shops get serious wholesaler discounts, they aren’t slinging fake clubs. I ran a small 9 hole semi-private and the hook ups were solid even without selling clubs on display. If a member came in and wanted something specific, my rep would take care of it with an email and let me mark it up how I’d like.
They literally have every reason not to sell fake clubs. I think your friend is just jealous.

The serial number font (SimSun) is a dead giveaway. I work with a lot of overseas suppliers and this font is everywhere. You can tell by the rounded balls on the ends of the numbers—very noticeable on 2s and 3s. This is basically Asia’s version of Times New Roman, it’s a standard typeface on almost all computers over there and no US-based designer is ever going to spec that font for anything, let alone high-end golf equipment. From what I can tell, Vokeys usually have a more condensed sans serif font, likely a Helvetica variant or similar.

Just take it to any other golf pro and ask them or call titliest, you will not seek what you are looking for on Reddit lol
