i’m a strong believer that some golf clubs just make golf easier and in today’s video we’re putting that massively to the test here at Jack Nicholas Championship Golf Course you see guys I have a couple of clubs in this bag which I honestly think could help so many people’s game so much so today we have a very special guest on the channel it’s actually our anniversary weekend but hello

good so guys we’re here today at Cardon Park a fantastic venue of two lovely golf courses we’re here overnight we’re going to hit the spa we’re going to do all sorts but you’re putting today

and I’ve got in fact I’ll wait to show you on the green because you guys all know I’ve been using a lab putter for absolutely ages it’s been helping my game it’s been lowering my scores and I think line goal balance putters with the zero torque can really help beginner golfers cuz you’re going to get into your golf this year and all of that just didn’t me now Laura doesn’t really understand it but we’re going to take on the first handful of holes here at the Nicholas course you can see it looks very very very challenging and Laura’s going to help by putting we’ve been on the putting green already it’s gone okay
we haven’t hauled one yet but we’ve made progress
well let’s uh I reckon it’s more than two years
since you’ve done it
um so first before we start let’s have a look at what we are dealing with here because we have a blind first hole here at Cardon Park and you can see we have 379 yards dog leg to the left so the guys here at Cardon Park have sorted everything out for us for this anniversary weekend i’m really enjoying it are you yeah

had a lovely lovely You can’t size the weather but it’s uh it’s not too bad it’s a little bit windy but it’s not raining
so we’ll take that right so looking at the mousy I think it wants to be just at that kind of lefthand bunker with the hybrid come on just like that now I have actually played here before with a good friend of mine Andy the average golfer Sullivan and I totally forgot until we had the lovely drive-in and I thought I have been here before and it was with Andy so you’ve got a lot to live up to Laura for this weekend because I had a fantastic time with Andy

i love it i think it’s absolutely fantastic we’re playing 54 holes in one day soon and that Funday bag will be an absolute dream right can we I think laying five holes can we break par
it’s a big It’s a big effort i’m going to have to put the ball close to the hole but we’ve got like every helping of the sun we’ve got the Lab putter we’ve got the Mousy G1 we’ve got everything that you would hope for

i I back yours up a lot right just to get it absolutely bang on the flag is actually at the back and you can move the flag around on here which is quite cool but to properly trust it with slope 166 bang on is it really uh I’m going to go six iron it’s sat down a bit isn’t it how close can we get the last thing you want to do here really is give you like a 60ft putt is it

yeah I liked the fact that you know sometimes you just never know whether you’ve got it flat

yeah it’s like that’s my that’s my putter i’ve just seen
worry about the damage to that
well we’ll discuss this later on at dinner but like so
you know what I mean like sometimes you feel like you’re whereas that’s just flat it just sits for you perfectly doesn’t it and obviously it’s not fitted for Laura it’s fitted for me but the idea that the zero torque putter can help but you don’t worry too much about the face angle you’re more bothered about just how far back you take it and then take it through so um hopefully we hold this first put on one under through one

so what we’ll do I’ll get the reads for Laura because obviously reading a green is a very very difficult skill this one
we can aim point it for you that’s not a problem um but the distance controls all on you
it’s slightly uphill and I would say left to right
okay i’d say it’s uphill to start with then it goes downhill a little bit and I think realistically I think Yeah I think you’re right with it being slightly left or right i’d go I’d go like here actually feels quite far now you’ve walked away from from it
think about how far back we took the putter on the putting green to there maybe

stroke index six so quite a difficult one basically as far up there as we can and then the same again that’ll do stay there yep over the bunker and far away hopefully that now gives us an opportunity to try and get on there in two in which case two putts will give you a birdie okay i just need a solid one to get us down how’s your fruit shoot right I must say this just gets better and better i haven’t even had to like change the hole or anything and I didn’t look in it on the tea which I probably should have done but you can see now 226 to the middle it just kind of keeps up with where you are right good to go i’ve got two hybrids into the window so I’m going to have to get all of it come on this is the one oh dear well it’s not on the green it’s to the right but it’s in the fairway there’s a there’s a chance there though if I can now pitch it I’d say chip it but it’s not even a chip pitch it close then you’ll just tap it in then we’re level bird of the last done
